•  Artists

•  Stuntmen

•  Production Crew

•  Entertainers

What topics are covered in the Visa Seminar?

The Visa Seminar covers the process for obtaining an O-1 visa and sponsorship. We’ll teach you the most cost-effective ways to get working papers for the U.S. and give you advice on transitioning to Hollywood. You’ll also learn how to find a place to live, what insurance coverage you need, how to find a reputable acting coach and so many more details about acting in L.A. and America in general.

Do you guarantee that I will get a visa?

Industry Hollywood does not coordinate visas and we are not immigration lawyers. We make suggestions that are based on our own personal experiences obtaining a visa and getting sponsorship in the U.S. We’ve also advised hundreds of actors on these topics. Like most things in life, there are no guarantees. The decision to approve your visa application is outside of our control.

We can guarantee that we’ll do our best to help you. We will suggest the most efficient and cost-effective routes that have maintained our 99% success rate thus far.

L.A. Networking Week FAQ

Who can attend L.A. Networking Week?

Industry Hollywood is very selective about the actors who participate in L.A. Networking Week. We want to maintain our valuable relationships with the key industry players you will be meeting, so we only bring actors who meet strict eligibility criteria based on experience level, training, and professionalism. It is not necessary to already have your O-1 visa papers when you attend the L.A. Networking Week. Think you've got the right stuff? Apply now

L.A. Networking Week is open to actors who are 18 years or older.

How much does L.A. Networking Week cost?

The adult package pricing:

GBP: £2,500

USD: $3,600

AUD: $4800

What does the price include?

The fee includes all meetings and workshops, transportation to and from the hotel, and accommodation for seven nights. Participants get their own en suite room. The fee does not include meals, flights, insurance, or any other costs.

What if I have my own accommodation for L.A. Networking Week?

If you have your own accommodation for the Networking Week then the cost of the hotel will be deducted from the overall cost. The price of the Networking Week without hotels factored in is:

GBP: £1,800

USD: $2,300

AUD: $3400

Please note that if you do decide to find your own accommodation that you’ll be responsible from getting to the arranged pick-up location at the specified time. If you are late, then you’ll have to catch up with the rest of the group at your own cost by taxi.

Do I need a visa to do the Networking Week?

No. Networking is devised so that actors can test the waters in L.A. and see if it’s for them. The week is considered an educational, mini vacation. If they week proves to be successful, Industry Hollywood can guide and assist you on how to start the O1 visa process.

For those that already have an O1 visa, Industry Hollywood’s L.A. Networking Week itself will give you that personal introduction which can help to open doors and establish relationships through educational meetings and workshops.

Do actors get signed with agents or managers or can I get cast in a movie by doing the Networking Week?

The Networking Week is devised to be educational and it’s rare that there’s further contact between the industry professional and the actor after the workshop. However, over the past nine years there have been a few exceptions. Please read about some of our success stories to find out the first hand experience had by some of the actors during past Networking Weeks.

Who do we meet during Networking Week?

You will have the opportunity to meet key industry players. Previous weeks included industry people who have been involved in movies and television shows such as directors and producers of both feature films and TV shows, management teams and agents. Please see the sample timetable to get an idea of what kind of people we meet with during the week.

What is the schedule for Networking Week?

Although it's different every time depending on when industry contacts are available, you can view a sample Networking Week calendar on the L.A. Networking Week page to get an idea what to expect. The week is very intense and typically includes 3-4 meeting every day.
